Before You Begin

  • Before starting, you need to complete the basic setup process.
  • You need to install the required driver on your computer.
  • For scanning your documents using a USB cable, connect the printer and the computer via USB cable.
  • For scanning your documents over a network, connect your printer to the computer over a wired or wireless network.

Scan Using Xerox Easy Printer Manager

  • On the printer, load the document to be scanned in the document feeder.
  • On your computer, open Xerox Easy Printer Manager.
  • Click the Printer menu and choose your preferred mode of scanning (USB cable or the Internet).
  • Click Home followed by scan. Then select Quick Scan or Advanced Scan.

  • On your computer, open Xerox Easy Printer Manager.
  • Click the Printer menu.

  • Select Advanced Setting or Machine Settings in the Xerox Easy Printer Manager window.
  • Click Scan to PC settings.
  • Select Enable in Scan Activation.
  • Now, select your preferred scan and file settings and click Save.
