How to Scan a Document Using Kyocera Printer?

Scan to USB:

  • Turn on your Kyocera printer.
  • Connect the USB stick to which you wish to save the scanned document.
  • Now, a dialog box will appear on your printer’s touchscreen. 
  • Select the Yes option to open the Displaying files dialog box.
  • Tap the plus sign if you wish to save the scanned document to the root directory of the USB stick. 
  • To enter the file name, select the File Name Entry option and touch the Next button. 
  • Now, place the document that you want to scan on your printer’s scanner glass. 
  • Press the Green Start button on your printer’s control panel.
  • Once the printer has scanned the document, select the Finish Scan option.
  • Now, a copy of the scanned document will be saved to the connected USB device.

Scan to Email:

  • Press the Send button available on your printer’s touchscreen.
  • If you’ve already configured your address book, then select Address Book followed by the desired recipient email address from the list. Touch the OK button.
  • If you haven’t configured your address book, then tap Email and enter the desired email address manually. 
  • Load the original document that you want to scan on the feeder.
  • Initiate the scan operation by pressing the Green Start button.
  • Once the placed document has been scanned by the printer, touch the Finish Scan option.
