Using the printer’s control panel:

  • Before starting, turn on your printer and computer. Connect them using a standard USB cable.
  • If you wish to connect them wirelessly, perform the wireless setup for your printer using the WPS method.
  • After establishing the connection between your printer and the router, connect your computer to the same wireless network.
  • Next, place the original document on the printer’s scanner glass.
  • If your printer has an ADF, load the original document into it.
  • On your computer, install the Epson Scan 2 software and the Event Manager program before starting the scan.
  • Verify the USB or Wi-Fi connectivity and navigate to the printer’s control panel.
  • Press the Home button and select the Scan option.
  • Select the Computer option and press OK to exit the information screen.
  • Next, choose the Select a computer option and select any one of the following options.
  • If your computer is connected to the wireless network, choose your computer’s name from the displayed list. If it is not displayed, select Search Again.
  • If your computer is connected to your printer using a USB cable, select the USB Connection option.
  • Choose the Save as PDF option and select any one of the following options.
  • Save as JPEG
  • Save as PDF
  • Attach to email
  • Follow custom setting
  • After selecting your desired option, select Save to start scanning your original document and save it to the connected computer.
